Here are a few pictures of the various paintings and icons from the inside of the church. We are often asked who the people are in the icons or to explain an icon’s significance. Please take a look. Click the image to see a bigger version, or click the caption to read a description of who or what is represented by the icon.
One interesting thing to note is that all of the painting, stained glass windows, mosaics and wood carving were done by members of the parish, Father Basuik and his wife and our resident iconographer with input from the Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Australia. They even made their own traditional paint using some very precious pigments.
